Buffalo and USO
February 27th, 2008 by MarcToday is the last day of the round and we have a close one on our hands. As of this writing, the Buffalo Field Campaign has a 460 vote lead with about 14 hours left in voting. Whoever ends up winning, I hope many of you have been introduced to these 2 very different organizations and the important work that they do.
Looking over some comments, it seems that some people question the validity of the voting. This based on the number of voters that have cast a vote in the last 30 minutes information that is provided. This isn’t an accurate gauge of the number of active voters. There is no way to tell from that information how many of those people voted once or are voting regularly every 2 minutes.
Also, things may get more crowded today. That means the server may run into issues if things get out of control. I will do my best to make it run smoothly. Also, please stay positive and supportive of each other. Based on past experience, this is a time where people get really competitive. No need to throw insults out of frustration! Remember that the pledge drive for the winner relies on ALL Vote4Cause visitors. So, being supportive of your ‘competitors’ means that they will be more likely to pledge to support your cause if you win this time around. And if not this time, sometime in the future!
Good luck everyone!
