Animals Asia Foundation
March 11th, 2008 by AngelaAnimals Asia Foundation is a Hong Kong-based government-registered animal welfare charity founded by Jill Robinson MBE in 1998. It also has charitable status in UK, USA, Germany and Australia with donations being tax-deductible in these countries. It has additional offices in China.
The mission of the Animals Asia Foundation is to improve the lives of all animals in Asia, end cruelty and restore respect for animals Asia-wide. The Animals Asia Foundation, managed by professionals, resident in Asia, is committed to forging constructive solutions to the seemingly insurmountable problems which the animals face in today’s changing environment. Implementation is through a dynamic three-pronged approach:
Investigation: Using the latest veterinary techniques, animal care and conservation science, our network of field officers target countries in Asia, identifying local needs and finding solutions for the animals.
Negotiation: Cultivating sensitive communication and cooperation with governments to open the door to visionary win-win solutions.
Education: Creating inspired grass roots programmes within the community, which spark far reaching change in people’s attitudes, thus motivating them to co-exist peacefully with animals.

I am going to do my best to hang with this vote4 AAF, but if I see any of the horrible name calling that has gone on in the last couple of days, I am out! I mean, really, to call a woman a whore because we are in opposing votes? I didn’t see it, but was told, and by the things I DID see posted, I can beleive it. This has become so childish, and so many people messaged me that they would not vote because of this hateful talk. We need to all act like adults, and stay in our own votes, if we have nothing nice to say to another site.
A group of people are starting to ruin it for so many others, and I am just sick of it.
Also, fyi, a lot of people in USO vote? AR workers. Thanks a lot, friends.

i did see terrible trash talk…..
especially when they were behind. then, when they were
winning, they came into our chat room to cause trouble.
not acceptable.
all who vote here have a passion for the charity they are
voting for. all charities are equally important. to have someone and their sycophants come into your chat and
rudely question your intentions…… that’s just wrong.
i participated half heartedly last round because of the bully
trash talk the round before. it ruins the experience.

Angela, thank you for posting this and letting people know about Animals Asia Foundation.
Keeping bears in small cages as they grow and spend their life captive without being able to move so that greedy monsters can continually extract their bile from them makes me ashamed to be the same species as the horrible people responsible.
Absolutely disgusting.
Animals Asia has my full support this round for helping the poor bile bears in China and for all the extraordinary, thankless and life-saving work they do for those that cannot help themselves.
There are so many great causes here to support, and many, many more that deserving nominating.
Thanks so much for all your hard work Marc!
