After seeing that USO did not show up in the standings, I went into the "All Causes", where it showed 0 votes so I clicked on USO just to see if it registered. 3 of my 3 clicks did, but none of the others did. So, for many hours USO kept showing as "The latest vote" but did not record. Is this why USO came into this round 100 votes ahead of everyone else? If so, that's nice, but an explanation would have been a good idea. ? Marc,

(or he would have taken it down) You all know, I am sure that it costs money to do anything these days, and running this site costs Marc money. Not enough comes in to run the site. It does give non-profits exposure and that is important. I know some folks who came to this site and before that had never heard of many of the groups. What about just voting and chatting? what happened to that? It used to be fun. And I am NOT an employee of vote4cause! In fact I work for Alley Cat Rescue! But as a nonprofit, giving your group exposure and letting them know about your work, is often as important as money!! It eventually leads to donations. To start a website full of charities and ads. You could vote for your favorite charity and all ad money was donated to the winning charity.
